: The Elland & Ryburn Circuit 

Churches

In September 1997, the Elland & Ryburn Circuit was born. Its parents were the Elland & Greetland Circuit and the Sowerby Bridge Circuit.

There are five churches in the Elland & Ryburn Circuit. They are:

Bethesda Methodist Church, Elland

Southgate Methodist Church, Elland

Stones Methodist Church, Ripponden

St Paul's Methodist Church, Sowerby Bridge

On Easter Sunday 2002, Greetland Methodist Church and Lindwell Methodist Church merged into the Greetland and Lindwell Methodist Church, retaining the two existing buildings.  Details relating to the merger.
