Prayers for yourself

Today

Lord, I want to pause and reflect on things that really matter in my life.

Thank you for those who love me.

Help me to understand them better, and to respond to their love.

Where I am confused, show me the way forward.

Give me courage to ask for guidance when I need it.

Where I am wrong, set me right.

If I misjudge people forgive me and let me know how to make amends.

Where I have been wronged give me patience, and deliver me from adversity.

Save me from hasty actions which may only make a bad situation worse.
